Andrea Vergara is a pharmacist and nutritionist graduated from the University of Navarra. She specialized in Clinical Microbiology and Parasitology at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona in 2016. Currently she works as a Clinical Microbiologist in Hospital Clinic. Its main activity focuses on the design of experiments related to Clinical Microbiology and NGS: from study planning, extraction and preparation of libraries to data analysis. He has experience in microbiome analysis (16S and shotgun) and has completed the master's degree "Bioinformatics and Biostatistics" from the UOC (2019).
