Data integration and systems biology

Description Given that the MISTRAL project will generate a huge amount of data related to the microbiome, HIV acquisition, therapeutic vaccination, chronic complications, immune reconstitution in response to antiretroviral therapy (ART) and antimicrobial drug resistance (AMR), data management and reporting will be centralized for all studies within the project. This will include the collection and preparation of omic and functional data for coordination and distribution to working projects, the collection of associated de-identified patient annotations needed for analyses and the preparation of information for dissemination to the public. In addition, correlates and mechanisms associated with microbiome impact on vaccine-induced immunogenicity and protection will be identified and curated into an accessible and searchable database,  biostatistical and bioinformatic correlate analyses will be performed with working project leaders and staff, multiple omic platform data will be integrated at the project and project group levels and preparations will be made for integrated modelling. Objectives
  1. To provide centralized data management and reporting for all MISTRAL working projects
  2. To identify correlates and mechanisms associated with microbiome impact on vaccine-induced immunogenicity and protection
  3. To create a searchable correlates database and perform biostatistical and bioinformatic correlates analysis with working project leaders
  4. To integrate multiple omic platform data generated by each project and  modelling between the three project group themes of HIV acquisition, prophylactic vaccination and therapeutic vaccination.
